Bibliotheca Group announce a significant addition to their product and service line-up with the acquisition of Trion Library Systems, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of Automated Materials Handling (AMH) solutions designed specifically for libraries. Formed in 2011 through the merger of Bibliotheca (Switzerland), Intellident (UK) and ITG (US), the Bibliotheca Group now represents one of the leading global providers of RFID solutions to libraries. The addition of Trion technology further solidifies Bibliotheca Group’s place as the premier provider of solutions designed to improve operational efficiency and overall customer experience in libraries. Trion AG, formed in 1999, quickly rose to prominence in Europe and the Middle East as the premier supplier of AMH systems to libraries, with particular focus on quality and engineering. During the period before the creation of the Bibliotheca Group, Trion AG already had established partnerships with all Group businesses as one of their key suppliers to customers in the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
