ASK Launches TickeTac Anti-skimming Contactless Paper Ticket
ASK has launched TickeTac, the innovative contactless paper ticket that activates only when touched on a specific spot. ASK, the inventor of C.ticket®, the first contactless paper ticket in the world, offers the market a brand new cost-effective, eco-friendly and anti-skimming contactless product.
TickeTac is based on ASK unique technology of silver ink printed antenna on paper and die chip process. The anti-skimming features of this new ticket come from a specific antenna design so that the manufacturing process does not need any upgrade or additional equipment.
“This breakthrough innovation enhances our contactless paper ticket portfolio. ASK has a strong legacy in innovation and TickeTac is building the future for the convergence of payment and transportation applications,” says Patrick Sure, Director of the Cards/Tickets/Terminals Business Unit at ASK.
TickeTac is a perfect medium for pre-paid usage in mass transit, payment, events or access control applications where an added security feature is required. For large sport or cultural events where anti-counterfeit features are required to secure entrance tickets, TickeTac provides this added security. Like regular contactless paper tickets, TickeTac does not have any over-thickness and can therefore be processed through the same personalization device. TickeTac can be fully graphically and electronically personalized and become the perfect marketing tool to remember a large event or to offer limited edition tickets. It is available with various chips, including Mifare™ UL and SRT512 ICs.
