Motorola To Offer Wireless Network Channel Program
Motorola has announced their PartnerEmpower Channel Program specialization for partners that deliver wireless broadband, wireless LAN (WLAN), security and voice-over-IP (VoIP) technologies and solutions.
By participating in the Wireless Network Solution (WNS) Track specialization, Motorola channel partners have the opportunity to achieve new levels of revenue with access to the industry’s broadest indoor and outdoor wireless network portfolio, a comprehensive training and certification program, and extensive marketing, sales and technical benefits to help them better serve their customers.
The WNS Track offers channel partners the opportunity to leverage a comprehensive set of solutions from Motorola’s WNS organization, created in 2009 to unleash the synergies between its enterprise WLAN, converged enterprise communications, Motorola AirDefense, private broadband networks and wireless broadband portfolios and to deliver best-in-class wireless connectivity solutions to enterprises, governments and service providers. Delivering on the promise of transforming organizations and empowering workers through seamless connectivity and real-time information in the hands of users, Motorola's innovative solutions offer the flexibility of wireless to customers, helping them grow their business and address today’s changing market dynamics with solutions that put them ahead of the curve.
The track is designed to reward channel partners for an increased level of competency in wireless technologies and success in developing a wireless practice. It will include opportunities for certification in key areas, such as wireless network design and implementation, wireless security or holistic network management, along with the opportunity to earn designation as a WNS Specialist or WNS Elite Specialist. These designations will not only provide channel partners with access to an incremental set of program benefits, but also will enable companies to differentiate themselves while demonstrating their value-add to customers and prospects.
As a WNS Specialist or Elite Specialist, channel partners will have the opportunity to leverage the industry’s broadest end-to-end wireless technology portfolio to provide enterprise and government customers with trusted wireless network solutions that enable anywhere access. The WNS Track will be rolled out in stages worldwide, with wireless channel partners in North America becoming the first group to be gradually and seamlessly transitioned to the new program without business interruption. Motorola radio and mobility partners in the region are expected to migrate to their program-respective tracks over the next 18 months, as will wireless channel partners in other regions.
