U.S. based Street Fleet, a premier same day delivery courier service, has upgraded its world-class dispatching system by supplying Psion Teklogix Ikôn rugged mobile computing devices to its drivers in the field. Street Fleet chose the Ikôn to enhance efficiency and improve the tracking of its packages in route.

Street Fleet began the upgrade of its internal dispatching system by choosing integrator Emkat, Inc., who utilized Penchant Software to provide a customized dispatching solution. Once in place, the Ikôn mobile computing device was integrated into the system, followed by connectivity through T-Mobile’s high speed data network, enabling the flow of real-time data.
