ALTECH to Launch High Performance Labeller at SIMEI Show

ALTECH will be exhibiting a new labelling head called the ALritma X at the upcoming SIMEI bottling equipment exhibition in Milan Italy (November 24 – 28)

The entry level version of the new ALritma X is equipped with an enlarged 400 mm diameter unwinder and an oversized rewinder for silicon paper, increasing range and reducing downtime. With a new powerful stepper motor driver board, the ALritma X can reach label feed speeds of up to 40 m/min and is available for label widths of 100 and 200 mm.

The advanced version of the ALritma X is fitted with an HP (high performance) kit made up of a motorized rewinder unit for silicon paper as well as an innovative “push-pull” label web drive system. In this configuration the unit can reach up to 90 m/min at a cruising rate of 900 labels/min., with high positioning accuracy even when the product transit speed varies. This version is particularly suited to heavy workloads, such as rotary labellers, particularly in applications using printer/markers with checking devices.

The ALritma X includes numerous technological innovations such as an easy to use paper insertion system (with cantilevered rollers).  Even with a 400 mm unwinder, the unit is compact in size. The double-effect pre-unwinding system and push-pull drive system are also innovative.  Other features include a compact rewinder unit for silicon paper with a brushless motor and gearmotor buried in the unwind plate.  The silicone paper removal system is integrated into the paper driving disc.  The checking device for near end-of-reel and full rewinder  feature new ultrasound sensors and the reel blocking system functions through an expansion mandrel.  The machine body is rated at IP55 for industrial environments.  For increased user friendliness, the compact control box includes a touch screen interface.

The HP version of the ALritma X will be on display at SIMEI, where visitor can view the  exceptional performance and features of the unit as it functions on a simulator .
